Gruppo LUBE achieved the ISO 14001: 2015 certification

After being the first kitchen manufacturer in Italy to achieve the GREENGUARD Gold certification from UL (Underwriters Laboratories), Gruppo LUBE takes another step towards a more sustainable future by achieving the important ISO 14001: 2015 certification from TÜV NORD CERT GmbH.

ISO 14001 is the international reference standard for companies that want to certify their Environmental Management System in order to guarantee the commitment in the analysis and control of their environmental aspects, direct and indirect, and the related impacts relating to the disbursed processes.

Gruppo LUBE applies an Environmental Management system in accordance with the aforementioned standard in the design and production of modular kitchens and in the marketing of related accessories, as well as in living furniture.

The ISO 14001: 2015 certification thus adds to the many initiatives implemented by Gruppo LUBE for sustainability in recent years. Like the installation of a 6000 KWh photovoltaic system in the company headquarters in Treia, capable of meeting the needs of the production processes in total harmony and respect for the surrounding environment, thus allowing the reduction of CO2 emissions. Furthermore, all the structures of Cucine LUBE furniture are manufactured with panels made of 100% recycled wood and with low environmental impact materials. A path, the one undertaken by Gruppo LUBE, which once again demonstrates how being a market leader is the result of a common vision and targeted investments in research and development.
