Just a few days after their victory over Perugia in the Italian championship, Gruppo LUBE celebrates its second Champions League success to raise the cup in triumph after a wait of 17 years. The team managed by coach Fefè De Giorgi crushed the Russian team of Zenit Kazan, winners of the last four editions, in the “Super Final” of the Champions League held at the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin, in front of 9 thousand spectators, including 500 from Marche, to be crowned European Champions.

An incredible moment of joy coming at the end of a perfect championship race that was finely tuned from January onwards with the arrival of the new coach, who managed to remould the team and lead it forward with calm determination towards this success.

The team patron and CEO of Cucine LUBE, Fabio Giulianelli was also there and made this comment on the team’s victory:

“An extraordinary week that could become a script for a sci-fi film. A demonstration of force and determination: we wanted it exactly that way as part of team development.
